As a Sales Assistant at Cheese && More by Henri Willig in Munich, you will be responsible for creating a unique shopping experience featuring premium Dutch cheeses and delicacies.
In this part-time / student job, you’ll be working in an international environment where customer contact, hospitality and the customer experience are key. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills within a family-run business that values craftsmanship and quality. You’ll work 16–24 hours a week and be available every Saturday wherever possible. Working hours are flexible and can be easily combined with school, university, training or other commitments. We’re happy to work with you to find the ideal work-life work and study balance.
In this role, your responsibilities will include the following
In this role, you’ll ensure that customers don’t just buy products, but also enjoy a complete cheese experience.
- You’ll advise customers proactively and with a focus on sales, ensuring they leave the shop with the right products and a positive experience.
- You’ll showcase our product range and our family business with enthusiasm through storytelling, and let customers sample our premium cheeses.
- You’ll help keep the shop tidy and attractive by carrying out cleaning tasks and ensuring product displays are well-presented.
- You restock shelves and assist with till duties, packing orders and preparing products for tastings.
- Together with your colleagues, you’ll ensure a welcoming shop environment where quality and the customer experience are key.
- If you’d like, you can also contribute to promotional activities and social media content.
We are looking for someone who has the following qualities
For this role, we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who thrives on customer contact and enjoys working in an international environment.
- You are enthusiastic, customer-focused and enjoy actively advising visitors on our products.
- You speak fluent German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
- You live in Munich or within approximately 30 minutes’ travel time of the shop.
- You are physically fit as you will be on your feet a lot and actively engaged throughout your working day.
- Experience in retail, catering, tourism or hospitality is a bonus but not essential.
- You enjoy working with international visitors and people from different cultures.

- A salary of between €2,596 and €3,380 gross per month on a full-time basis, commensurate with the role and your experience.
