Headquarters

The head office is located in Katwoude (a 15-minute drive from Amsterdam and situated amidst the tourist towns of Volendam, Edam and Marken).  From this location, various departments such as financial administration, HRM, ICT and Retail support the shops and cheese-making facilities.

Our financial administration staff take care of the daily recording of cash flows and financial reports for timely and correct reporting. The HRM department is responsible for the HRM policy and takes care of recruiting and selecting new employees, supporting the managers in HR matters including sick leave guidance and training. The ICT department implements the ICT policy, including the automation and optimisation of processes. The organisation works with various advanced systems which are maintained by our ICT staff.

The Retail department defines the policy for the shops and provides support in areas such as &purchasing, marketing and PR.
