Sales
From our Sales Department in Heerenveen, our Account Managers are busy every day serving and expanding national and international customer relationships. In this way, our Dutch cheese specialities are distributed to a wide variety of customers in more than 25 countries. Our people in the Sales Department take care of order processing and serve the (international) customer together with Account Management. Furthermore, the Sales Department undertakes numerous marketing activities and participates in national and international trade fairs to reach its customers.
We are used to listening carefully to our customers. They are the link between our cheese-making process and the consumer. They provide important feedback on the success of our cheeses in the market and they sense what the cheese lover demands.
Our sales team and our R&D support our buyers to seize new opportunities and possibilities in the market. Exchange of ideas can lead to development of new cheese varieties or improvement of existing cheeses. On behalf of and in consultation with our customer, we can develop a new recipe in test production. We can also actively think along about marketing strategies to successfully launch new cheeses or tap new markets for existing cheeses.
The sales team and R&D department are directed to keep innovating. The aim is to add several new types of cheese to the range each year. New market developments are discussed on a monthly basis, new production methods are analysed, the results of tests and research are reviewed and new ideas are discussed. From our own development and together with our customers, we have now launched more than 50 cheese varieties.
