Where in the past many guests were welcomed at this location in Centrum - Hotel Restaurant, we will continue this course. After all, hospitality has been instilled in us and we aim to give our visitors an unforgettable cheese experience. Our restaurant features our tasty cheeses in the lead role, in deliciously surprising dishes. We strive to offer many organic options. In our shop you can buy high-quality cheese and enjoy our cheeses at home too! We have plenty of seating inside and outside in our restaurant. Groups are also welcome.
Henri Willig also has a boat for groups of up to 42 people for hire, guaranteeing a full Giethoorn experience.

Besides three cheese farms, where over one million visitors a year are informed about the craft of the clogmaker and cheese maker, Henri Willig has a number of tourist shops and several modern luxury cheese gift shops under the name Cheese & More by Henri Willig.

Sales

From our Sales Department in Heerenveen, our Account Managers are busy serving and expanding national and international customer relationships on a daily basis. In this way, our Dutch cheese specialities are distributed to a wide variety of customers in more than 40 countries. Our people in the Sales Department take care of order processing and serve the (international) customer together with Account Management. Furthermore, the Sales Department undertakes numerous marketing activities and participates in national and international trade fairs to reach its customers.

Marketing

The Marketing team, of which our Webshop is also part, is working daily to get this message across to consumers. In doing so, the team makes an important contribution to realising the ambition of becoming the number one premium cheese brand worldwide.

Headquarters

The head office is located in Katwoude (a 15-minute drive from Amsterdam and situated amidst the tourist towns of Volendam, Edam and Marken). From this location, various departments such as financial administration, HRM, ICT and Retail support the shops and cheese-making facilities.

Production

Our organisation comprises two cheese dairies where several thousand tonnes of cheese are made every year. In Katwoude and in Heerenveen, at the behest of our customers and our own shops, our Cheese Makers make as many as 50 different age and herb cheeses from regular organic cow's, goat's and sheep's milk. This demands a lot from our Cheesemakers. Namely, they have to be able to switch quickly and effectively between the different cheese types.

Quality

The Quality team is responsible for maintaining, improving and securing the quality system with regard to food safety, food quality, working conditions and environmental care. As a result, Henri Willig has all the necessary certifications to sell our cheeses even in countries with the strictest regulations.
