Henri Willig Academy

Within the Henri Willig Group, we attach great importance to the continuous development of our employees. After all, they are an important factor in the success of our organisation. Within our own Henri Willig Academy, various training programmes and courses are offered to further strengthen the talents of our employees. This enables the employee to take responsibility for the goals set within his or her position and make a good contribution to the organisation's goals and his or her own development.

Onboarding

There is a wonderful onboarding programme for new colleagues. During the introduction day in Katwoude, new colleagues are introduced to the Cheese Family, including the general manager. A tour of the organic Jersey stable and Cheese Factory is, of course, also part of the programme. This learning day creates a nice basis for the general onboarding within Henri Willig.

Say Cheese

For our Retail colleagues, the Henri Willig Academy offers the Say Cheese sales training. Besides subject and product knowledge, communication skills are major influencers of customer buying behaviour. In this training, the Academy helps new colleagues gain more insight and skill in customer approach and sales. In addition, retail e-learnings include the following:

  • storytelling / our cheese story
  • dealing with aggression
  • various talent training courses
  • teamwork

To keep developing as an employee, the Henri Willig Academy offers several training courses. These focus on different departments within Henri Willig. These training courses can also be picked up at home, in the form of an E-Learning. A low-threshold way to learn more and test new knowledge. Whether it's a new language, hygiene rules or production, it can all be found in an online learning environment.

Storemanagement

For new shop managers, the Henri Willig Academy has developed a Store Management training course. For one year, the Store Manager is trained on various aspects that are important as a manager. These include

  • coaching management
  • recruitment and selection interviews
  • rosters and planning
  • performance management cycle
  • annual plan and budgeting

Together with the regional manager and external trainers, store managers receive appropriate guidance in this.
