As a Network/System Administrator, you will be part of a close-knit and ambitious IT team. You will be responsible for the optimal functioning and continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure. Our environment is spread over no less than 41 locations, including 39 shops, which makes for a versatile and challenging management environment with plenty of opportunities to develop your technical and organisational skills.

In this role, you will be given a lot of space to direct your own work. We encourage you to help think about new solutions, improvements for our infrastructure and technological innovations. What will you do?

  • Management, monitoring and optimisation of our network and server landscape (Windows/Linux)
  • Virtualisation management with VMware (vSphere/vCenter)
  • Application management of business-critical software
  • Security monitoring and threat detection, e.g. with Darktrace
  • Thinking along and executing IT projects: renewal, migrations, automation
  • Executing 2nd/3rd line support and supporting colleagues in complex incidents
  • Managing and maintaining networks and systems across 41 locations connected using WireGuard VPN.
  • Identifying improvement opportunities and actively contributing to the strategic further development of our IT

Henri Willig is a fast-growing independent livestock farmer, cheese producer, retailer and exporter that has been successful in the exclusive cheese segment since 1974. Henri Willig has a strong position in the national and international market for Dutch cheese and organic cheese specialities. The total organisation comprises a livestock farm, 2 cheese dairies, 39 shops in the Netherlands, Germany and Austria, a Grand Café and a Webshop.

Our organisation is developing rapidly, which gives our ICT team more and more challenges in the field of information technology. With activities in production, logistics, B2B sales and retail, we offer a wide range of work and projects. Several ambitious IT projects are planned in the coming years to further strengthen our organisation.

Our ICT team consists of six experienced and dedicated colleagues in positions such as Application/Network Administrator, Business Analyst, System Administrator/IT Support Engineer and Application Developer. Together, we work daily to improve business processes and the continuity of our IT environment. In this position, you will report directly to the ICT Manager.
