At our Henri Willig Cheese Farm Stores in the heart of Amsterdam, our guests imagine themselves in a typical old Dutch farm. But in the city! With several branches, many of which are located in the centre of Amsterdam, thousands of customers are served daily. Our Henri Willig Farm Stores are open almost every day of the year, so our staff are flexible (including most public holidays). We are looking for colleagues for our various Cheese Farm Stores in Amsterdam. We have vacancies for 1 or 2 fixed days in the weekend and flexible during the week.
What will you do?
- advising customers proactively and sales-oriented
- presenting the product range and letting customers taste cheese by means of storytelling
- cleaning and performing other activities that contribute to the shop's appearance
- restocking the shelves in the shop
- opening and closing the shop
Who are you?
- You preferably have a hospitality and/or Retail background and are used to pampering customers and giving them a great time
- You are able to work independently as well as in a team
- You have a great affinity with tourism and enjoy serving our guests in an old Dutch outfit to give them a 'piece of Holland'.
- You have an excellent command of Dutch (or are learning this) and English (command of additional foreign languages is an advantage).
- You are customer-oriented, proactive and always know what needs to be done.
- You have excellent contact skills, a flexible attitude and a great sense of responsibility.
- You are physically in good shape.
- You are available to work weekends, public holidays and evenings.
What do we have to offer you?
- An excellent, market-based salary between €2400 and €3200 gross per month (based on full-time employment), in accordance with the collective labour agreement for the food industry, plus travel allowance, pension and 50% Sunday allowance. Youth wages see table below.
