Would you like to work in one of our beautiful, modern cheese gift delicacy shops in the heart of Amsterdam and advise and enthuse visitors from all over the world about our delicious cheeses and delicacy products? We are looking for colleagues for our beautiful shop on Kalverstraat. For this vacancy, we are looking for a colleague who can work every Saturday, combined with sometimes a day during the week. Ideal for side job, 2nd job or student/scholar!
At Cheese & More by Henri Willig Kalverstraat, we introduce our visitors from all over the world to our delicious cheeses and deli products. Visitors are also very curious about the origins of our products. Will you make sure they leave our shop with a smile and an experience richer?
What will you do?
- advising customers proactively and sales-oriented
- presenting the product range and letting customers taste cheese by means of storytelling
- cleaning and performing other activities that contribute to the shop's appearance
- restocking the shelves in the shop
- opening and closing the shop
Who are you?
- You preferably have retail experience in an environment where proactive and sales-oriented advice is highly valued. If you have a different background and are still convinced that the job suits you, we also look forward to receiving your application.
- You are enthusiastic and positive
- You have an excellent command of Dutch and English (command of additional foreign languages is an advantage).
- You enjoy working with both Dutch customers and tourists every day.
- You are customer-oriented, proactive and a team player.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible attitude and a great sense of responsibility.
- You are willing to work on Saturdays every week.
We offer:
- An excellent salary of €2,379 to €3,119 gross per month (based on full-time employment) in accordance with the collective labour agreement for the food industry and reimbursement of travel expenses
