Sales assistant cheese shop Damrak in Amsterdam (side job/student job/holiday work)

Our specialty shop is a vibrant shop where we have fun introducing both Dutch and international visitors to our company and beautiful products. Will you help us?
At Henri Willig, we introduce our visitors from all over the world to our delicious cheeses and deli products. They are also very curious about the origins of our products. Will you make sure they leave our shop with a smile and an experience richer? As a Sales Assistant, you can work weekends in combination with 1 or 2 days during the week.
What will you do?
- advising customers proactively and sales-oriented
- presenting the product range and letting customers taste cheese by means of storytelling
- cleaning and performing other activities that contribute to the shop's appearance
- restocking the shelves in the shop
Do you recognise yourself in the following?
- Enthusiastic, customer-oriented, proactive and a team player.
- Good command of English (other languages are a plus).
- Living in Amsterdam or within 30 minutes travel time from Amsterdam CS.
- Physically in good shape.
- If you have experience in hospitality, tourism or retail, this is a nice bonus!

- A salary between €2661 and €3225 gross per month (based on full-time employment), in accordance with the collective labour agreement for the food industry as well as travel allowance and 50% Sunday allowance.
