Would you like to work in a world where craft and state-of-the-art production techniques come together and are you eager to quickly make a career as an All-round Cheesemaker? Then Kaasmakerij Henri Willig offers you the right working environment to realise your dream.

There are quite a few cheese makers in the Netherlands, but there is only one Cheese factory Henri Willig. A family business where, as a Cheesemaker Operator, you will master the craft of cheese making, namely milk processing and cheese making itself, from start to finish. A unique combination in the Netherlands. And of course in a technologically advanced production environment.

Cheesemaker Henri Willig, also known for its organic Hooidammer cheeses, is a fast-growing, independent cheese maker, exporter and retailer that has been successful in the exclusive cheese segment since 1974. Quality, sustainability and innovation are of paramount importance to us. If you become part of our Cheese Family (which now consists of more than 520 colleagues), you will be involved every day in making our honest, award-winning specialty cheeses, which we sell daily to our customers in more than 35 countries and in our 40 own shops.

During an extensive familiarisation period, you will work closely with three experienced cheese makers who will show you the ropes. After the introductory period, you will be given the opportunity - if you do not already have one - to obtain your Food Technology MBO3 and VOB Cheese MBO4, in addition to the in-house courses and training offered by the Henri Willig Academy. So at Cheese Factory Henri Willig, you will not only start a new job, but your job will be the start of your own growth path!

You will work a five-shift schedule where you will work six days and then have four days off (you will work an average of 33.6 hours per week).

What will you do?

  • receiving and standardising various types of milk, such as cow, goat and sheep milk
  • preparing award-winning cheeses according to more than 100 recipes in a technologically advanced production environment
  • administrative processing of data needed to increase quality and yields
  • processing the whey generated in the cheese-making process
  • actively participating in the continuous improvement of processes

Do you recognise yourself in the following?

  • good command of the Dutch language
  • at least MBO working and thinking level and the desire to develop further
  • affinity with process technology
  • a team player, sense of humour and healthy curiosity

What do we offer?

  • Attractive salary in accordance with the Zuivel Cao whereby you start at a gross monthly salary of €3,676 based on 33.6 hours per week (including shift bonus of 28.7%) and can eventually grow to a gross monthly salary of €5,115 (including shift bonus).
  • end-of-year bonus of 5% of your annual salary
  • the prospect of a permanent position with good performance
  • excellent induction programme by experienced, dedicated colleagues. Curious what colleagues have to say about working at the Henri Willig Group?
  • a job with a lot of personal responsibility and the space to think along and initiate matters
  • the possibility to develop with our own Henri Willig Academy
  • pleasant company parties and company outings
