Work in transport and logistics at our new and modernised warehouse location in a unique rural setting, near Amsterdam?
In this position, you will lead a team of 5 colleagues (logistics staff and drivers). You will be responsible for efficiently receiving, storing, processing and distributing goods on behalf of the shops, other distribution points and customers. You will work 36-40 hours in this position.
What will you do?
Ensuring an orderly and effective warehouse at a new location and proposing further improvements to it
Implementing new work processes
Arranging efficient and cost-conscious transport and distribution and planning for this
Ensuring optimal stock levels and forecasting
Loading and unloading goods and ensuring that orders are ready for shipment on time
Liaising with shops and other customers on desired supply and with the Category Management department on assortment, suppliers and logistic preconditions of products to be purchased
Ensuring availability of vehicle fleet and internal resources
Together with your team, you continuously work to optimise the quality of the processes and the corresponding administrative records. The daily timely and complete delivery to our shops and other customers is your calling card.
Your background?
Preferably 2-5 years' experience in a similar management position in a food/production environment
You are aware of current (health & safety) legislation in the field of logistics and transport
You have experience with processing goods flows in automated/digital systems (preferably with AFAS)
You know better than anyone how to coach a team so that they deliver the right output with enthusiasm and motivation
You are fluent in Dutch and English is an advantage

a salary based on CAO Food scale F: €3,649.41 - €4,049.68 on a full-time basis, incl 8% ADV allowance
