As Category Manager Procurement (Retail/FMCG), you will ensure that our retail range is always attractive, distinctive and commercially strong. You select the right suppliers, negotiate the best conditions and set a pricing policy that safeguards our margin and brand identity. You report directly to the Retail Director and work closely with colleagues from marketing, logistics and our distribution centre.
Your goal? To offer an attractive range that is always available in our shops and that surprises our guests.
What will you do?
Selecting suppliers that match our quality and brand standards
Purchasing products at optimal conditions and according to our logistics guidelines
Identifying new trends and product opportunities
Drawing up a pricing policy for a healthy margin mix
Composing an appropriate assortment
Ensuring optimal product availability and stock management in coordination with our distribution centre
Documenting contracts, agreements and contact details
Together with a direct colleague, you take care of reports and accurate file management of the assortment
What do you bring?
HBO/WO working and thinking level
Experience with purchasing and/or category management in fmcg (retail experience is a plus)
Strong analytical skills and eye for detail

We offer:
Good working conditions and salary based on CAO Levensmiddelen 4,500 - 5,500 euro gross (full-time/40 hours)
