Company manager / Location manager Giethoorn

As Manager of the establishment (restaurant, shop and canal boat), you will have the opportunity to work with the team to grow our Grand Café within the tourist and local market. This combination can be called special. The story of Henri Willig who has been producing his own award-winning cheeses for more than 50 years completes the unique overall picture. You will not only serve individual visitors, but also receive groups. Does your partner also have hospitality passion and experience? It is also possible to do this job together.
What will you do?
- Together with your team, you will provide our guests with a great time in the Grand Café and also collaborate in all operations, creating a 'we feel' in the establishment.
- You will coach, facilitate and inspire your team members so that they get the most out of themselves and develop further within the team.
- You encourage your team members to take on tasks and responsibilities so that the Grand Café and the shop run smoothly even in your absence.
- Finally, you are the point of contact for colleagues and external relations, you are responsible for a piece of local entrepreneurship and you ensure that all (administrative) processes run smoothly.
- By means of a thorough annual plan, you translate your vision and approach to the company and you know how to make optimal use of the cooperation with our central departments, including the tourism department.
- By doing the above with dedication and in your own way, your team achieves results that both you and the company are proud of!
Do you recognise yourself in the following?
- Multiple years of experience as a Restaurant Manager and has hospitality as a high priority.
- You can coach, develop, inspire and delegate and a positive, you know how to create an energetic setting where all team members go through fire for each other.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible attitude, a great sense of responsibility.
- Besides Dutch, you speak English well. German would be an advantage.
