Cheese & More by Henri Willig is now a household name in the Netherlands, Germany and Austria. Every day, we introduce thousands of visitors from all over the world to our delicious premium cheeses and delicacies. We use 'storytelling' to tell our visitors the wonderful story of our family business and the craft of cheese making. Our visitors leave with a smile on their face and an experience richer!

Do you know how to coach and motivate your team members like no other to inspire our visitors and give them an unforgettable time? Then become part of our cheese family as a branch manager! In this position, you can work between 30 and 38 hours per week from Monday to Saturday. You will be available at least 2 out of 4 Saturdays and from the high season (spring) also flexible on Sundays.

What will you do?

  • Together with your team, you will offer our guests a great time in the shop and work with all other shop activities to create a "we-feel" in the shop.
  • You coach, moderate and inspire your team members to bring out the best in themselves and develop within the team and the company.
  • You encourage your team members to take on tasks and responsibilities so that the shop runs smoothly even in your absence.
  • You ensure that you and your team monitor and promote the Cheese & More by Henri Willig business concept.
  • Finally, you are the point of contact for colleagues and external parties, you are responsible for a piece of local entrepreneurship and you ensure that all (administrative) purchasing processes run smoothly.

By implementing the above points with dedication and in your own way, you and your team will achieve results that you and the organisation can be proud of!
You are jointly responsible for the shop's results and are the point of contact for the store manager and colleagues from other departments.

Do you recognise yourself in the following:

  • You preferably have experience in a similar management position in a company and/or work environment where hospitality plays an important role.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, flexible attitude, great sense of responsibility and a positive critical eye.
  • You can coach, develop, inspire and delegate and can create a positive, energetic environment in which all team members go through fire for each other.
  • You have a passion for retail, tourism and delicatessen.
  • You have an eye for retail, are creative and can make decisions and improvements through your analytical approach.
  • You speak excellent German and English.
  • You are flexible. You work four or five days and are available on Saturdays for at least two out of every four weeks, and from spring onwards, also flexibly on Sundays (once every four weeks).
