Are you ready to work as a Driver (Own Transport) to supply our shops and farms with our artisanal specialty cheeses and other delicacies and accessories? Then read on!
For the Retail / DC department, we are looking for a Chauffeur bakwagen (C1 category).
In the position of Chauffeur, you will be responsible for transporting our delicious cheeses and other artisanal products to our shops, farms and suppliers. Given the busy and hectic schedule in the shops, we are looking for a driver who is capable of serving the (internal) customer in a pleasant, service-oriented manner. As a Chauffeur, you will be part of the Distribution Centre team consisting of four pleasant colleagues.
What will you do:
- Stocking our shops (mostly A-locations in busy and large city centres), farms and other buyers/retailers
- Together with your colleague driver, you divide the routes and drive one week in Amsterdam and surroundings and another week the longer routes into the country (Maastricht / Den Bosch / South Holland / Utrecht / Giethoorn) , so lots of variety!
- Loading and unloading our products: You unload the pallets with an EPT (electric pallet truck) but you also regularly use your muscle with unstacking the pallets in the shop. You deliver an average of 4-5 shops per day.
- Working in the Distribution Centre (warehousing/order picking) where necessary.
- Working days are Monday to Friday and occasionally Saturday. Your working hours are 06:00 - 15:00.
You take with you:
- Preferably driving licence BE and C1 but we are open to candidates wishing to obtain their BE and C1 licences at short notice.
- Preferably code 95 or willingness to obtain it
- At least 1 year experience as a driver (preferably in large inner cities)
- Physically in good shape and therefore able to load the truck independently and deliver the cargo to our shops
- Service-oriented, flexible, independent, careful and a good representative of our beautiful products and brands (also on the road, of course!)
