As B2B Marketing Henri Willig employee, you will be responsible for drawing up and realising marketing objectives and carrying out marketing activities on behalf of our premium cheese brand Henri Willig in the business market.
For over 50 years, the Willig family has passionately produced high-quality cheeses at two production sites in Katwoude (North Holland) and Heerenveen. The primary contribution of the B2B marketing employee lies in strengthening the Henri Willig brand worldwide and promoting sales to business customers such as wholesalers and high-end supermarket chains, both in the Netherlands and other countries in the European Union, as well as in various export countries. In addition, in this role you will be responsible for developing and successfully introducing new products in our versatile cheese range and developing interesting new sales channels, such as Travel Retail. You will also actively contribute to communication about the sustainability of our business, which is increasingly organic.
In this role, you will report to the Director of Marketing, R&D and E-commerce and work closely both within the Marketing team and with our commercial and other departments. You will have every opportunity to inspire others and to continue to develop yourself.
What will you do?
- Identifying trends and market opportunities, communicating these widely within the organisation and translating them into product development and measurable action plans.
- Annual preparation of the marketing plan and budget for the Henri Willig brand, partly based on a thorough evaluation of the previous year's results.
- Active collaboration with account managers to achieve relationship strengthening and above-average sales growth with a selection of international B2B brand clients and in the commercial growth channels for the brand.
- Manage the Henri Willig product portfolio for corporate customers, including the introductions of innovative new products and packaging forms in the range. This includes actively coordinating the participation of our cheeses in international cheese competitions to receive independent awards.
- Preparing a strong premium brand presentation at national and international trade fairs and for brand introductions to promising prospects.
- Draft and execute promotional activities, including direct mail, B2B advertisements, brochures and POS materials).
- Monitor content on the business segment of the Henri Willig website, including the biannual Henri Willig sustainability report.
- Occasional marketing contribution to Private label concepts.
Do you recognise yourself in this?
- You have a completed HBO degree in Marketing or similar.
- You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the food industry.
- You have highly developed social and communication skills.
- You are analytical, creative, curious, stress-resistant and work in a structured way.
- You can work both in a team and independently - always with an eye for high quality.
- You have good editorial skills and an affinity with automation and the growing application of AI in Marketing.
- Good command of Dutch and English in word and writing is required. Command of German is also an advantage.
