Minimum 32 and maximum 36 contract hours per week
At Kaasmakerij Henri Willig, a lot has been invested in expanding and improving the cheese factory in Heerenveen in recent years. Examples include the implementation of a packaging line, a robotised cheese treatment line and a completely renewed, enlarged and automated cheese warehouse.
Experience in these areas is certainly desirable but we also offer you the opportunity to learn where necessary. This can be both by following a training course and gaining practical experience together with your immediate colleagues. You will work independently but of course also as part of the team with four other mechanics. Together, we can meet any challenges that arise. We immediately consider you a full colleague and give you the opportunity to get to know our plant and systems. After an induction period, you will work on-call shifts, which are divided equally among the TD team. On average, you will have one weekend in every five weeks. In addition, you will have one fixed day on weekday on-call duty, whereby we will take your wishes and private circumstances into account as much as possible. On average, you will be called up twice a month.
In this position, you have the option of working 32 or 36 hours.
What will you do?
- You consult daily with the other mechanics, your supervisor and the production departments
- Locating, analysing and rectifying faults
- Carrying out preventive maintenance and inspections
- Actively thinking along in improvements
Do you recognise yourself in this?
How does it affect you when someone calls you regarding a breakdown in one of the machines? Does this frighten you or does it give you energy because you can show what you are worth? At that moment, together with the operator, you can make sure our processes are up and running again. During your day shift, you identify possible areas for improvement and carry out preventive maintenance to avoid failures in the future. The installations you work on are very diverse; on the one hand they mainly concern liquid processes such as milk and whey processing, and on the other hand handling and packaging.
And do you also recognise yourself in this?
- MBO4 working and thinking level
- Independent, proactive and stress-resistant
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- You consider safe working important but keep it practical
What do we offer?
- a job classified in scale 7 of the Dairy CLA (€3,376 - €4,151 gross per month based on 36 hours)
- 8% holiday allowance, 5% end-of-year bonus, on-call duty allowance and good fringe benefits (pension, travel allowance, etc.)
- the prospect of a permanent position with good performance
- the possibility to develop yourself with our Henri Willig Academy
- a dynamic working environment with short lines of communication
- a very challenging and varied job in which you learn every day
- the opportunity to develop further, both technically and organisationally
- pleasant company parties and company outings
