Application specialist / Application manager ICT - Heerenveen (32-40 hours)

What will you do as an Applications Specialist in Heerenveen

As an Application Specialist within our ICT team in Heerenveen, you will be responsible for the technical management as well as the functional optimisation of our software applications (including ERP, production & logistics systems).
You:
- translate user requirements into software solutions and contribute to the further development of applications;
- manage and optimise the use and set-up of applications such as AFAS Profit and CheeseIT within production & logistics;
- is the point of contact for end-users with questions about applications and ensures unambiguous use;
- works closely with suppliers, project managers, application management colleagues/specialists and the business;
- participates in various ICT projects aimed at digitalisation and automation within the Heerenveen location;
- takes care of documentation and knowledge sharing within the application management process.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with:
- a completed relevant ICT education (e.g. Business Informatics, HBO/WO) or demonstrable work experience;
- experience with setting up/managing an ERP system (experience with AFAS is an advantage) and preferably knowledge of workflow management, Excel and Power BI;
- excellent communication skills in Dutch, you can understand and support various departments;
- analytical and solution-oriented skills: you see automation opportunities and know how to implement them;
- organisational talent: you can manage several processes simultaneously and work in a transition-oriented way within a dynamic environment.
