As a sales assistant at Cheese & More by Henri Willig in Heidelberg, you will work in an international retail environment where you will introduce visitors to premium Dutch cheese. In this sales role, you will be a true brand ambassador. You will take care of product presentation and customer experience, driving sales through expert advice and storytelling. What will you do as a sales assistant?

In this role, you will ensure that customers do not just buy a product, but experience a complete cheese experience.

  • You advise customers proactively and sales-oriented, so that they leave the shop with the right products and a good feeling.
  • You present the range and the company with enthusiasm through storytelling and let customers taste our premium cheeses.
  • You contribute to a tidy and attractive shop by cleaning and maintaining presentations.
  • You restock shelves and take care of cash register duties, make packages and cut or block cheese for the tasting tables.
  • You will bring the cheese experience to life in the shop and, if you wish, can contribute to promotional content on our social media.

This position suits candidates who enjoy working with international visitors and are energised by personal customer contact.

What we are looking for in you

 

We are looking for a sales colleague who takes hospitality and responsibility for granted.

  • You are enthusiastic and customer-oriented and proactively engage with guests about our company and our premium cheese products.
  • You have a good command of English and German; other languages are a plus in this international retail environment in Heidelberg.
  • You live in Heidelberg or within about 30 minutes' travel time from the shop.
  • You are physically in good shape, as you do a lot of standing and active work during your working day.
  • Experience in hospitality, tourism or retail is a plus, but not mandatory.

The role is suitable for starters as well as candidates with experience in sales or hospitality who want to work in an international setting.
