Sales assistant Cheese & More Utrecht (24 hours)

In this role, you will ensure that every customer feels welcome and leaves the shop with a smile.

• You will advise customers proactively and sales-oriented about our cheeses and related products, so that they make a choice that suits their taste.
• You will tell the story behind our family business and the product range and let customers taste cheese, thus contributing to a real experience in the shop.
• You perform cleaning tasks and keep the shop tidy
• You replenish the shelves and ensure that products are attractively presented.
• You will open and close the shop according to established procedures, contributing to a safe and organised working environment.

This position suits candidates who like to be active, get energy from customer contact and enjoy working in an international retail environment.

• You preferably have retail experience in an environment where proactive and sales-oriented advice is highly valued. If you have a different background and are still convinced that the job suits you, we also look forward to receiving your application.
• You are enthusiastic and positive
• You have an excellent command of Dutch and English (command of additional foreign languages is an advantage).
• You are customer-oriented, proactive and a team player.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible attitude and a great sense of responsibility.
• You are willing to work weekends (at least 1 day) and public holidays.

• A good salary of €2764 to €3,305 gross per month in accordance with the collective labour agreement for the food industry, plus travel allowance

For school pupils and students, we apply fixed gross hourly rates in accordance with the Food Industry Collective Labour Agreement including a 25.3% allowance.
