As a Sales Assistant at Cheese && More by Henri Willig in Vienna, you’ll welcome visitors from all over the world and ensure that customer service, hospitality and the overall experience are at the heart of what we do. You’ll work in an international retail environment where you’ll present premium cheeses and delicacies to a wide audience. You’ll work every Saturday (or 3 out of 4) and one flexible day or shift during the week.
This part-time job is ideal for students and school pupils looking for more variety, a good work-life or study-life balance, and the chance to further develop their sales and language skills. Together with your colleagues, you’ll ensure that visitors not only make a purchase, but also take home a lovely souvenir of their visit.
What will you be doing as a sales assistant?
In this role, you will help create a welcoming shopping experience for visitors from both the UK and abroad.
- You will welcome visitors and assist them in a friendly and professional manner.
- You will assist with sales activities and, following a comprehensive induction period, advise customers independently on our products.
- You will showcase the product range through storytelling and introduce customers to our premium cheeses via tastings.
- You will help maintain a clean and tidy shop by carrying out cleaning duties and supporting tasks.
- You will restock shelves and ensure that products are presented attractively.
What are you bringing?
For this role, we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who enjoys working with international visitors.
- You are enthusiastic, customer-focused, proactive and enjoy working with colleagues.
- You ideally have some experience in retail, hospitality or a similar customer-focused environment, but this is not a requirement.
- You speak excellent German and English.
- You are physically fit and enjoy being active.

Your benefits and terms of employment
You’ll have a flexible part-time role where you’ll gain work experience within an international family-run business.
- You will receive a gross monthly salary of between €2,038 and €3,011 based on full-time employment in accordance with the Kollektivvertrag Handelsangestellte.
- You will receive a 50% bonus for hours worked after 1.00 pm on Saturdays.

- You will receive a comprehensive induction programme, even if you have no prior experience.
