As a sales assistant at Cheese & More by Henri Willig in Frankfurt, you will work in an international retail environment where you will introduce visitors to premium Dutch cheese. You will advise customers, provide tastings and, together with your team, contribute to a welcoming and well-kept shopping experience. The position offers a lot of personal responsibility and flexible working hours, making this role part-time easy to combine with studies or other pursuits.
In this role, you will be an important part of the brand experience. Through advice, storytelling and product presentation, you will bring the world of our cheeses to life in the shop and ensure that every customer leaves with a positive experience.
What will you do as a salesperson
In this role, you will ensure that customers do not just buy products, but experience a complete cheese experience.
- You advise customers proactively and sales-oriented so that they leave the shop with the right products and a good feeling.
- You present the range with enthusiasm through storytelling and let customers taste our premium cheeses.
- You contribute to a tidy and attractive shop by cleaning and maintaining product presentations.
- You restock shelves and perform checkout duties, including making packages and cutting or portioning cheese for tastings.
- You will bring the cheese experience to life in the shop and can contribute to promotional content on social media if required.
This position suits candidates who are energised by personal customer contact and working with international visitors.
What we are looking for in you
This role requires a hospitable and proactive sales assistant with a sense of responsibility.
- You are enthusiastic, customer-oriented and easily engage with international guests.
- You have a good command of English and German; additional languages are an advantage within this international retail environment in Frankfurt.
- You live in Frankfurt or within about 30 minutes' travel time from the shop.
- You are in good physical condition as you do a lot of standing and active work during your working day.
- Experience in retail, hospitality or tourism is a plus but not a requirement.
The position is suitable for starters as well as candidates with experience in sales or hospitality who enjoy working in an international environment.
