Will you be at the heart of our award-winning cheeses?
The Field Operator performs a support function in the cheese production and reports to the 1st Operator and Head of Cheese Making. In this position, you will work part-time an average of 24 - 32 hours per week flexibly on alternating days in different shifts (06.00-14.00/14.00-22.00/22.00-06.00).
We always try to have the planning clear 2 to 3 weeks in advance, with possible changes due to unforeseen circumstances.

Ambitions for more? During an extensive familiarisation period, you will work closely with experienced colleagues who will show you the ropes. After the familiarisation period, you will be given the opportunity to obtain your Food Technology MBO3 and VOB Cheese MBO4, in addition to the in-house courses and training offered by the Henri Willig Academy. What will you do
- Supervising the pressing and circulation process
- Processing the dust curds
- Taking care of pickling
- Applying the correct marks on the cheeses
- Checking cheeses (weight, damage, PH value), different values and freezing temperatures
- Monitoring the cheese and brine conditions
- Reporting process deviations, conditions, etc deviating conditions
- Cleaning of all equipment, auxiliary equipment and working environment
- Processing various administrative data in the ERP system
We ask of you
- experience in a similar production environment is a plus
- be able to work independently and have an eye for detail
- great sense of responsibility for compliance with safety, quality and hygiene regulations
- affinity with foodstuffs
- flexibility in terms of working hours and shifts
- good command of the Dutch language
