As a Store Manager at Cheese & More by Henri Willig in Heidelberg, you’ll have the opportunity to work for a sustainable company that places a high priority on quality and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the shop, presenting our cheeses to customers in an engaging and passionate manner, and motivating your team. You will ensure that the shop always looks its best and that customers receive excellent service.
In this role, your responsibilities will include the following
As a Store Manager, you are responsible for various tasks that contribute to the shop’s success:
- You lead and motivate the team to achieve sales targets.
- You ensure optimal shop presentation and stock management.
- You are responsible for drawing up timetables and training new staff.
- You analyse sales results and draw up improvement plans.
- You maintain contact with suppliers and ensure good cooperation.
- You are the point of contact for customers and ensure excellent service.
We are looking for someone who has the following qualities
For this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- You have experience in a managerial role within the retail sector.
- You have an affinity for cheese and the food industry.
- You have good communication skills.
- You are results-oriented and have a proactive attitude.
- You have completed a vocational qualification (MBO).
- You are flexible and willing to work at weekends.

Henri Willig holds a strong position in the national and international markets for Dutch cheese and organic cheese specialities. The organisation as a whole comprises a livestock farm, two cheese dairies, 39 shops, a Grand Café and an online shop.
