As a Logistics Assistant in Katwoude, you will work in the cheese factory on Saturdays and be involved in the final stage of the production process. You will supervise cheeses from the brine bath to packaging and transport and ensure that this process runs carefully and efficiently.
You will join a team with other pupils and students where cooperation is key. Within this practical working environment, you will have the opportunity to get started quickly without experience and develop yourself in logistics work within a production environment.
What will you do as a logistics employee production
In this role, you will collaborate in the logistics process and ensure that cheeses are ready for shipment.
- You will plasticise and paraffinise cheeses so that they are protected and ready for transport.
- You will care for and turn cheeses during the ripening process to maintain quality.
- You process orders so that products are correctly prepared for shipment.
- You will support other work within the logistics department to ensure the process runs smoothly.
This position suits candidates who like to be hands-on and want to work in a production and logistics environment.
What will you bring with you as a logistics assistant
This role requires responsibility, accuracy and availability on Saturdays.
- You are available every Saturday and like to start early in the morning around 07:00 or 08:00.
- You work independently, meticulously and have a great sense of responsibility.
- You are at least 16 years old because of the working environment with machines.
- You speak fluent Dutch
The role is suitable for school pupils and students looking for a part-time job alongside school or studies.
