Do you have experience in international B2B sales and working with retailers, and would you like to further boost the global success of our exclusive, award-winning cheeses? The International Account Manager is responsible for ensuring that commercial targets are met to the full with their clients and in their markets. You will be part of a team of 13 enthusiastic colleagues comprising Internal Sales Staff and Account Managers. You will report to the Commercial Director.
As an International Account Manager at Henri Willig in Heerenveen, you will be responsible for further expanding our international markets and strengthening relationships with retailers, wholesalers, importers and agents. You will work with exclusive, award-winning cheeses sold worldwide and play a key role in the continued growth of our international organisation.
Within our family business, where craftsmanship, entrepreneurship and respect for people, animals and nature are central to everything we do, you’ll have plenty of scope to identify opportunities and develop markets. You’ll work alongside an enthusiastic sales team and have a direct influence on the international growth of our brands, products and customer portfolio.
What are you going to do?
In this role, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth in international markets.
- You will develop sales plans, budgets and distribution strategies for each market and customer.
- You will achieve commercial targets in terms of turnover, distribution, presentation and profitability.
- You will identify market trends and actively respond to them with commercial initiatives.
- You will acquire new clients, develop new markets and contribute ideas to product development.
- You will regularly visit international clients and maintain long-term relationships.
- You maintain close contact with customers, distributors, retailers and other stakeholders.
- You organise and attend international trade fairs to further expand Henri Willig’s network and visibility.
What do you bring to the table?
For this role, we are looking for a commercially driven professional with experience in international B2B sales.
- You will have completed a business degree at least at higher national education (HBO) level, preferably with an international specialisation.
- You have experience in a similar role within an international B2B environment in the food industry.
- You have experience with international retailers, wholesalers, importers and agents.
- You have strong commercial acumen and can identify opportunities to further develop markets.
- You interact easily with stakeholders from different countries and cultures.
- You can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- You have an excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Additional foreign languages are an advantage in this international role.
