Henri Willig Cheese Factory, also known for its organic Hooidammer cheeses, is a rapidly growing, independent cheese producer, exporter and retailer that has been successful in the premium cheese sector since 1974. The Head of Internal Sales is responsible for coordinating the work of the Internal Sales department and thus ensuring the smooth flow of sales orders. You consistently provide the highest quality of service to our customers. You are results-driven and seek the best possible solution for your customers. You coach, facilitate and inspire your team members so that they can achieve their full commercial potential and to further within the team and the company. You work closely with the Account Managers to achieve the company’s commercial objectives. You do not hesitate to propose and implement structural improvements to the sales process.
In this role, you will lead a team of 8 colleagues, report to the Commercial Director and form part of the Sales Team, which consists of 13 colleagues. Furthermore, you act as the linchpin between various teams and make a significant contribution to an effective supply chain. We prefer a 40-hour week, but a 32- or 36-hour working week is negotiable.
What are you going to do?
- To coach, facilitate and inspire your team, and to coordinate the work within the department.
- You will monitor and optimise the order processing workflow to improve efficiency.
- You ensure optimal collaboration between the Internal Sales team, Account Management and other departments such as Logistics and Marketing.
- You will initiate process improvements to optimise the department and the entire supply chain.
- You act as the Commercial Director’s right-hand person on various projects.
- Finally, you will also manage a number of clients yourself, which means that – as an expert with hands-on experience – you will be closely involved in day-to-day operations and, together with your team, will maximise the commercial impact for Sales.
What do you bring to the table?
- HBO level of working and thinking, and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar managerial role.
- Good command of English (German would be an advantage) and excellent IT skills (experience with Afas would be an advantage).
- Experience in the (international) FMCG sector is an advantage.
- An affinity for optimising work processes and supply chain management.
- Excellent coaching, coordination and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
