Would you like to work as an Employee Hospitality Service at a special location in Giethoorn? In this role, you will be the face of the Grand Café and ensure that guests have a pleasant and hospitable experience. You will serve both individual visitors and groups and contribute to the smooth running of the daily catering activities. Henri Willig in Giethoorn offers a complete guest experience in the shop, restaurant and on the water!
You will work in an international environment where you will receive guests from all over the world. Together with a close-knit team, you will ensure a pleasant atmosphere and a hospitable experience. The position is flexible between 2 and 5 working days a week and can lead to permanent employment even after the season. Of course, you are also more than welcome as a pupil, student or trainee! Together with you, we look for the right balance in work-life-study or other activities. Working hours are flexible and range from 12:00 to 20:30.
What will you do
In this role, hospitality is key and you will contribute to the overall experience of visitors.
- You will welcome guests and guide them during their visit in the Grand Café.
- You will take orders and serve drinks and dishes.
- You will participate in all common tasks to create a strong team feeling.
- You will ensure that guests are satisfied and leave with a positive experience.
This position will suit candidates who are energised by contact with people and working in a dynamic hospitality environment.
What do you bring
For this role, we are looking for a guest-oriented colleague who works independently and shows initiative.
- Preferably, you have experience as a waitress in the hospitality industry.
- You work independently and take a proactive approach to tasks.
- You speak Dutch and English.
- You are also available for 1 or 2 days at the weekend.
The position is suitable for candidates who are flexible and want to work in an international environment.
