As a sales assistant, you are the face of our shop. You’ll offer customers tastings of our delicious cheeses, share our story and ensure that everyone leaves with a smile. With your enthusiasm and customer-focused attitude, you’ll help deliver the premium shopping experience our customers expect from us.
In this role, your responsibilities will include the following
You play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience. Your duties are as follows:
- You advise customers and let them sample our cheeses.
- You’ll share the story behind our products and our brand.
- Together with the team, you’ll ensure the shop is neat, tidy and inviting.
- You’ll help with sales promotions and seasonal campaigns.
- You’ll ensure customers have a positive shopping experience, day in, day out.
We are looking for someone who has the following qualities
We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who identifies with the following points:
- You enjoy sales and customer contact.
- You are friendly, open and service-minded.
- You enjoy working as part of a team.
- Experience in retail and/or hospitality is an advantage, but not essential.
- You speak German and English well (other languages are a plus).

Henri Willig is a rapidly growing, independent livestock farmer, cheese producer, retailer and exporter that has been successful in the premium cheese segment since 1974. Henri Willig holds a strong position in the national and international markets for Dutch cheese and organic cheese specialities. The organisation as a whole comprises a livestock farm, two cheese dairies, 39 shops, a Grand Café and an online shop.
