As an Assistant Store Manager at Cheese & More by Henri Willig in Munich, you will work in the middle of a lively, international shopping environment. You will work with an energetic team and receive guests from all over the world on a daily basis. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in the daily management of the shop, but also be active on the shop floor yourself. Together, you will ensure a strong team, an excellent shopping experience and good commercial results. Not an office job, but a dynamic retail role in which you really make an impact on the shop floor.
As assistant store manager you will steer for results and quality, with your leadership making a visible difference to both the team and the guests. You will coach and motivate your staff, monitor product presentation and customer experience, and drive sales through expert advice and storytelling. You make decisions within the Cheese & More retail concept, with room for personal initiative and entrepreneurship. You will contribute to the reputation of our brand and ensure that our visitors have a premium shopping experience that reflects our core values.
What will you do as assistant store manager?
In this position, you will combine working on the floor with responsibility and team coaching:
- You will support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations
- You will lead the team together with the Store Manager
- You will ensure excellent customer experience and service
- You boost sales through advice, presentation and storytelling
- You coach and motivate colleagues on the work floor
- You take responsibility and actively contribute to improvements
- You ensure that the Cheese & More concept is visible and tangible in the shop
What are you taking with you?
- Experience in retail, hospitality or similar environment
- A hands-on mentality and sense of responsibility
- Good communication skills and team spirit
- An interest in food, retail and customer experience
- You enjoy working with international guests
- You are flexible and can switch well in a dynamic environment
- Good command of German and English, multiple languages is an advantage
