Pleasant, I am Klaas
I am 22 years old and in the final year of the International Business course in Utrecht. During my studies, I quickly discovered that I am energised by everything to do with entrepreneurship, international growth and business development. It was precisely this broad interest that made me look for a graduation internship in a dynamic, international working environment.
Graduation internship at an international family business
I found that place at Henri Willig. I consciously looked for a family company with international ambitions, where I could really make an impact as an intern. Everything came together in Katwoude: entrepreneurship, growth and a close-knit team. Since day one, I have enjoyed going to my internship in North Holland, where no day is the same.
Working on international growth and retail expansion
During my work placement / graduation internship International Business, I am involved in various projects. For example, I am working on a plan for retail expansion in Belgium and developing a practical toolkit for future international expansion. I also support the marketing department and help out in the shop. Precisely this combination of marketing, retail and strategy makes this internship ideal for students who want to develop broadly within an organisation.
Internship in a close-knit and committed team
What makes this internship in North Holland extra special is the working atmosphere. From the start, I was warmly welcomed by colleagues and immediately felt part of the team. In my spare time, I love being with friends and family. And yes, when you work at Henri Willig, you automatically become a bit of a cheese expert! My absolute favourite? Henri Willig's Jersey cheese - and I'm not the only one, because everyone I let taste it to is an instant fan.
