Cheese & Donna

We not only sell the delicious Henri Willig Cheeses here but we also have a nice collection of foreign cheeses, wines and delicious Dutch cut cheeses. So we also see many local customers who come back regularly for a delicious piece of cheese or wine. So the work is very varied, one moment we advise our customers for a nice cheeseboard. Cut a nice piece of cheese or slice the cheese for a sandwich, and the other moment the shop is full of tourists and we tell our cheese story and let them taste our delicious cheese. 

From April to September, the Kaaswaag is open and there too we receive tourists from all over the world, often groups accompanied by a guide. We tell our cheese story but also the history of the Kaaswaag and the cheese market, and of course we have the cheese market every Wednesday morning in July and August. We also have next to the shop the "Story of Edam Cheese" an experience where visitors learn all about Edam and Edam cheese, also these visitors then come out in the shop to taste and of course buy our cheese.  
In short I find it a wonderfully varied job, contacts  nbsp; with visitors who come from all over the world but also just from our beautiful city of Edam.
