What is your typical working day like?

No two days are the same. You’ll welcome customers, let them sample our cheeses and advise them on flavours, recipes and gift hampers. In addition, together with your colleagues, you’ll ensure the shop looks neat and tidy, restock products and help create the best possible shopping experience. Your duties will include:

Advising and inspiring customers.
Organising cheese tastings.
Displaying products.
Working at the till.
Restocking shelves.
Working as part of an international team.

One of the best things about working in Salzburg is meeting people from all over the world. Every day, you’ll welcome visitors from countries including Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, the United States and Asia. Do you speak English or another language as well as German? If so, you’ll be able to use it every day at work. You’ll learn to interact with different cultures whilst developing your commercial and communication skills. Do you enjoy promoting the shop offline as well? Then you can help create content for our social media channels to promote in-store offers and products online. Will you be part of our ‘from farm to customer’ journey?

No. We consider enthusiasm, a welcoming attitude and a commercial mindset to be more important. We’ll teach you everything about our products and sales techniques.

Which languages are important?

German is important for this shop. English is also a must, as you’ll be helping international visitors on a daily basis. Do you speak any other languages? If so, that’s definitely a plus.

Can I work part-time?

Depending on the role, we offer both full-time and part-time opportunities.

Do I only work with tourists?

No. As well as tourists, we also welcome many local visitors from Salzburg and the surrounding area.
